    Default Parking Permits

    Hey all.
I just got a car. I needed a car (hauling film equipment back and forth to NYC ect got quite expensive) and I sadly boarder Parking zone #24. Now, technically, it's not directly on my block (Jackson), but it begins on the streets immediately behind me (wolf and the small ones like Juniper). So I was curious if
    1) I can still get the sticker
    2) How the hell do I get one? The PPA website is not useful at all and I don't want to have to go down to 3101 Market if I haven't got to.

    Thanks!

You are not eligible for a sticker.

I'd still check with the PPA. You can call them.

    Or email.
I'm not seeing all these supposed bikes in all these million dollar bike lanes.

I would just go to the PPA building at 3101 Market Street and tell them you want a permit. You'll need your registration (registered at your address), and an additional proof of residence (if your license has your home address on it, you can use that. Otherwise, I think a lease or utility bill will work).Cost for the first year is $35, $20 thereafter. Then just see what they say. If you don't want to physically go in, give them a call at 215-683-9730. But I feel like they'll be less helpful over the phone. Who knows though, you never know what you're going to get with the PPA.

Thanks guys. I'll probably head over there once I get back from a shoot out in New Mexico. By then I'll be more ready to deal with PPA nonsense. You'd think by now they'd have a nice automated, online system.

You don't need to live in a permit parking zone to be able to get a sticker. We have one. The nearest permit zone is like 2 blocks from us. Your car just needs to be registered to your actual address.

Your car needs to be registered to your Philadelphia address with PA tags. Bring your registration to 3101 Market. You don't have to live on a permit-zoned street, you will get a permit for the nearest one.
