fantasy football sucks
And no it isn't because my team sucks, I am going to make the playoffs. I've even won my league before, but ff still blows chunks. It isn't fun, its stressful. It's so lame all these games you have to play with players who are dtd with a minor injury. Today I go to rotoworld at 1230 and they say deangelo williams is definitely going to play. I look back at 110, guess what he's out. Last week I was winning but lost by 1 pt because john carney misses a fg in garbage time. ff also sucks because the best team doesn't win a lot of the times. The highest scoring team in our league has put up over 100 pts almost every week and has scored more than 200 pts than everyone else but isn't even going to make the playoffs. ff also sucks because 1 injury can completely destroy your team. There's also constantly a lame rat race to see who can pick up the defense first that is playing the rams, browns, or lions the next week. Its also quite lame how a rb who scores 3 tds and rushewho rushes for only 10 yards puts up more pts than a rb who runs for 110 yards and no tds. Fantasy baseball and hockey are far superior in everyway to ff. The best team for the week wins not the team that is a fluke. You can also deal with injuries in baseball and hockey. 1 injured star player isn't as devestating.
Yup def my last year of this bs.
Címon, FF is great. While it can be stressful and time consuming, I love it. I donít play any other fantasy sports, but I imagine many of your complaints (injuries, waiver wire) are common in other fantasy sports. Each player has the same obstacles and access to the same info so its an even playing field. FF is 40% skill, 40% luck and 20% hoping your opponent has no clue. Your point about a RB who scores 3 TDs for minimal yds vs an RB who puts up yards but no TDs, doesnít really make sense. Thatís like saying if the Eagles throw 50 times a game and rack up 500 yds of total offense, but they settle for FG inside the Red zone while they are outscored by their opponent who scores Def and Special teams TDs, the Eagles should still win the game b/c they had more yards. Anyway, not sure why I chimed in here, good luck in the playoffs and hopefully youíll have bragging rights amongst your friends and a few extra $$$.

I know what you mean about the players who are listed as "doubtful" or "probable". I lost by a wide margin the week before this because I left Warner in and turns out he didn't play. I didn't bother to check on his status before the deadline, so it's mostly my fault.
I hope you'll change your mind, Mr. Brooks. If not, then good luck in this year's playoffs!
Draft depth at the key positions, be conservative with injured players who are gametime decisions, and recognize that the best team doesnt always win.
Mr Brooks, just create a league that....

5.) Has every team play head to head each week, awarding teams with a winning records a win, teams with even records a tie (if odd number of teams), teams with losing records for the week a loss.
6.) Decide how many teams should make the playoffs and resolve tie breakers to for and during playoffs by using total points scored for the year so the "best team" always moves forward. 2nd tie breaker = overall record of all games played to that point. 3rd tie breaker = team with player that scored the most points over the season. 4 tie breaker = coin flip
7.) Each round of playoffs eliminates 1/2 of teams using same format as regular season. Championship game is only game that one teams plays the other straight up. no tie breaker in championship game, winnings is split 50/50 so teams in championship game can both go home happy and not lament losing over a tie breaker.
and all your freaking Fantasy Football problems are solved!!!!!!
