    Default Welcome back A.I.

Can't believe there wasn't a thread by now. Thoughts?

I'll say this-I was annoyed and thought the move was a cynical desperation move to sell tickets. It probably is-but boy it's hard not to feel good about it after wathcing A.I.'s tearful press conference yesterday.

He truly loves this city and the fans-and it's hard not to like a guy that likes you that much.

I've always watched the Sixers-but I'll be watching more now for sure.

Hahaha.. I seem to recall him skipping out on Fan Appreciation Night. Anyway, I like the guy, but this is a desperate move by a desperate team.

He'll always be remembered for "practice".

But whatever. AI and Philly are a perfect disfunctional marriage.

As much as I hate him, I still love him. I want him to retire here.

Poll idea: Which will end better, the second coming of AI or the second wave of Afghanistan?

AI is much better because no one is going to get killed, hopefully.

War is over if you want it

Those are two very optimistic statements.

AI is better for the franchise than Snyder, what a douche.

well, they aren't exactly running a charity, they're in for the money.

They did get a sold out crowd (first in the season), so it's paying off so far.

Is this pattern in philly sports? signing in the retired old guy, ala Martinez?
