I am sure that is hanging in the visiting locker room at Yankees stadium. The Phils will use it as motivation.

I hope Victorino hits a home run and then curtsies after he crosses the plate.

GO PHILS!

I think that may be the point. If the two are interchangeable (and they often are), then does it matter?

I think that's the best one I've heard so far.

leave it to the Journalists

A friend of mine who ugh, happens to be a Mets fan and lives in Paterson, NJ had a small text message conversation with me yesterday...

Me: WS. Who are you rooting for, if anyone?

2 hours later...

Friend: phone finally charged... hate them both but Phillies no question. I think they are the better team anyway.

Me: Yanks seem to be heavily favored by the "experts"

Friend: **** that, as much as I don't like the Phils, they're gonna win. I HATE THE YANKMEES!

Yankmees? never heard that one

Yankmees. heh. I've also never heard that one.

It's the city of Brotherly Love, and NYC is our bigger brother to the north. This crazy Philadelphia fan will still give NY some love. I think it kicks ass that the top of the game is between two city centers barely 100 miles from each other, and me.

It reminds me of a joke when I was younger.

You would ask someone "Who do you like better, the Phillies or the Yankees?"

Based on what they answered you would say "Feel these" or "Yank these" and then grab your balls.

The Yankee my wankies remind me of the Donger from Sixteen Candles....
