Wow how the "mighty" have fallen. To the Big East higher-ups, this must be like eating crow.

It is looking more and more likely. Villanova basketball is in big trouble now.

Temple to meet, could accept Big East invite

I know the big basketball recruit from Constitution HS said he would go to Temple if they are in the Big East.

Well it is official, though no one here seems to care. Come on, this is a big deal for this school's sports program.

Temple v Villanova just went to a whole other level. Hey, maybe they can have a decent football program too, their attendance has been up, though for football the Big East is way down.

You are looking at the newest season ticket holder for Temple football, at last big time college football in Philly, way and long overdue. Let the games begin that cannot begin soon enough for me.

Though my interest is more with the basketball program, I do plan on going to some home games for sure next year. Maybe we can get some big recruits in here and get some great college football. I am a big fan of the college game and it would be great to be able to see some good live stuff.

Yes, it is a shell of what it was, but it really is a step up from the MAC.

I need some South Phila bars that open early so I can pregame before Temple v. Rutgers this Saturday. Game is at noon at the Linc. I think Ray's opens early (7a)? Philadium opens early too I think. Open to suggestions.

Right now the Big East has more ranked schools than the Big Ten or ACC.

Check datestamps, genius. What was true last January is not necessarily true today...
