All of Joe Paterno's good deeds are now suspect and tainted by a man who had a guilty conscious, the construction of the library he built for Penn State commenced in 1998 which also conicides with the first offical complaint against Sandusky. At one time earlier in his career, he publicly stated that he stayed as a college football coach instead of going pro so that the likes of Nebraska coach Tom Osborne and Miami coach Jimmy Johnson did not ruin the college game. I have to admit I was completely duped by Joe Paterno and it is a shame that he let his pride and ego get in the way of doing the right thing at the right time. The statue should come down immediately, the library renamed, and no longer does Joe Paterno deserve the affectionate moniker of JoePa.
