Default Outside food at Citizen's Bank Park

I know you can bring in any sealed plastic bottled drinks, but what about food? Is it the same sort of rule? Eg a sealed bag of chips but not a homemade PB&J? I cant find this anywhere on the CBP or Phillies sites.

you can bring in a home made pb&j as well as sealed food. i usually bring a hoagie with me, others in my section bring sandwiches, fruit, pretty much anything as long as it's not in a hard cooler.

Those pages only reference glass bottles and coolers. They say nothing about food regarding what's allowed or what isn't, which is why I asked.

You can bring in anything, sandwiches, chips, drinks, etc. Drinks just have to be sealed. It has to be a of reasonable size and you have to let security check it as you are going through the gates. One of the guards told me that people used to try to sneak in beer cans disguised as wrapped up hoagies.

Oh, sorry! I had found info there for a game I went to last year and I could have SWORN it mentioned food items. My friend and I stopped at Wawa. I got a banana (of all things) and she got herself a hoagie and chips. Also we brought bottled water, but kept it under the chips. If you're lucky enough you'll get a quick pat down by someone who doesn't really care.

What game will you be going to? Got good seats?

It figures that the last time I went in my opened water bottle with one sip taken was checked and confiscated. The time I make sure I have a sealed bottle no one gives it a second glance.
