Let's see... one team actually in the playoffs vs the other 3 teams, one is totally effed for the season, one's eternally hopeless (6ers) and the other more popular sports team right now not too recently got a kick in the pants by the Braves.

With Pittsburgh getting blown out so far and the Flyers in the lead....this could be a great night! Flyers could definitely be only the 3rd team in NHL history to come back from a 3 game deficit.....but one game at a time. A 7th game would be sweet and a win even better. Flyers vs the Hab nots....

Amazing how little people care about the 2nd best team in the city. And to think, they were a shootout away from being bounced from the playoffs.

Bitches! 6th team in NHL history to come back from an 0-3 deficit to tie the series. Now the next big record to achieve! Big game Friday! Leighton on fire tonight! The team is going to have to be even better Friday to get over this last hump to move on to the conference finals...

Who'd of thunk it from this dysfunctional group plus the 7 or 8 goalies we have used. Apparently Ritchie isnt a bad captain as all those hacks said in the press. Okay maybe Pronger had something to do with it. I am still not sold on that trade yet until the cup comes back home. Game 7 Friday!

Pronger is without a doubt worth every single cent we paid for him. If the flyers win on Fri, it will be the first time in NHL history the 7th and 8th seed have made the conference finals. God I love hockey. Best playoffs out of any professional sport hands down

It is definitely the best playoff IMO. Still we paid a kings ransom for a HOF dman. If we advance I will not complain again. Lets all hope Betts is okay.

I still think Sbisa will be a stud as well as Lupol being a solid winger. Sbisa was very good in the olympics.

And that's the problem with the NHL, the only interesting time is playoff time. I watched the third period last night, I'll actually watch all of game seven and I'll watch from thereon out. At this point, I DO want to see them win and I know they can beat Montreal.

People will start caring now that they've came this far.
The NHL needs to either cut the number of playoff seeds in half or keep the same number of playoff seeds and shorten the season to 60 games.

I'm always a worrier when it comes to upcoming matchups in the playoffs. When the playoffs started, who would have thought that there was a chance that the Flyers would host the Habs in the Conference Finals? That would seem like an IDEAL match up.

I know these Flyers aren't the Eagles from last January, but I remember everyone getting excited about the Eagles drawing the Cardinals for the Conference Champsionship game, especially after whipping them on Thanksgiving. It seemed like the IDEAL match up, and we all remember how that turned out.

I don't know if any Phillies fans thought the Yankees were the ideal match up, but we were ready to see if our team could hang with the big boys. We also wound up disappointed then.

I am excited about how the Flyers have been playing, and how they have fought out of the 0-3 hole. Like I said, I am a worrier. Just be cautious about getting what you want, because it may not turn out how you want.

Yeah, if you're not a hockey fan, I guess. I personally find the entire season interesting. I've watched every game this season (some on Tivo if not live), been to a dozen regular season games, was at the Winter Classic in Boston, and haven't missed being in the stadium for a home playoff game in 4 years. But welcome to the bandwagon, it should be filling up soon.

Yeah, Halak is insane right now. BUT, both the Caps and Pens lack real depth in their roster. They both have a couple of super stars and the Habs were very good at neutralizing those few players. The nice thing about the Flyers, and the reason we've gotten this far even with all the injuries, is that although we don't have a Malkin or Ovechkin, we have a lot of guys who are VERY good players and step up when needed and on different lines. Opposing coaches have a problem juggling their lines to defend against that. When you have 3 or 4 lines that can produce goals, it's tough for the other team to put together 3 or 4 defensive lines that can stop them all.

Exactly. We've watched every game this season, as well. And, when there's not a Flyers game on, my husband is watcing the other games, or talk shows about hockey on the pay channels.

Two years ago we travelled during the playoffs and spent considered effort to stay in hotels that would have the game on the TV. We were able never to miss a game, even in NC and TN.
