    How did you deal with the heat. It's hawt up there!

    I'm not seeing all these supposed bikes in all these million dollar bike lanes.

    Well since it was only 72 outside it felt like 95 up there. I stopped by last week when it was 90 and the security guard said "you do not want to go up there".

    This summer they will be constructing a glass cube on the Hamilton Rooftop Garden so they won't have to cool an area the size of a city block.

    I thought the same thing.

    It seemed like an afterthought, the heat up there.

    Nice to see about the cube.


    This building is a great example of an Architect, trumping design over functionality.
    I'm not seeing all these supposed bikes in all these million dollar bike lanes.

    Ive been wondering about the heat and whether anybody thought about it initially since it first came up in this thread.

    Surely you couldnt design a greenhouse w/o expecting it act like one, no?

    In any event, the design does lend itself some great photographs.

    The problem is when extra sound insulation was added to the floor up there it blocked off some of the air intakes to the 4 A/C units.
