Default How much would you pay to have cat litter delivered to your door?

I am frankly sick of picking up massive bags of cat litter at Monster Pets. This is due in part because they don't let you roll a shopping cart out their door at the Parkside location.

I would probably pay a 20-30% premium to have some crusty punk on a delivery bike drop off cat litter at my front door. This would be a relatively easy business to run - basically a website, paypal acct, a garage full of cat litter, and someone willing to move the stuff for close to minimum wage.

I'm not sure this is a winning business proposition, though. Maybe other people enjoy scooping cat**** all day to avoid replacing the litter.

    What do you think?

Wag.com: Best Supplies For Dogs, Cats, Beloved Pets - Free Shipping

I use wag once in awhile. What I do is every few weeks I'll buy the huge refill boxes usually 3 of tidy cat at Petsmart. Then fill two plastic tidy cat containers as needed. I have litterboxes in two areas of our place so one plastic container for each area. We live in a condo I did not think I could store numerous plastic containers. The refill boxes are square and cardboard which makes storing kind of easy.

Pick up one of these at HD and keep it in the trunk. Problem solved.

Its not the picking it up. Now if you had a business plan to empty out the box and take it away, I'd probably pay a whole, whole lot for that.

I get mine from Amazon. just get a prime account. You pay some money up front but then you can have anything they sell that is covered delivered to your door free. I use it often enough that it pays for itself.

For example, this is the kind i use but you can get just about anything on amazon.

Amazon.com: Nature's Miracle Just for Cats Corn Cob Cat Litter, 18-Pound: Pet Supplies

    Works for me.

You really might be onto something there.

So what if the delivery service initially drops off say three prefilled litter boxes at once with sealable lids, like the kind of Rubbermaid box you use for storing sweaters? When your cat is done with a box, you put the lid back on and throw it on the front porch, then hit a button on your smartphone. The delivery person comes by and swaps your box out for a new one.

They already sell them at super fresh.

When I'm working 7 days a week I'll usually get delivery from shop rite. I think it costs $12 or something like that.

Chic Petique was also doing delivery for a while, not sure if they're doing it anymore.

They do it all the time. I think it is the same bike delivery crew that does the laundry pickup/delivery, and they sometimes carry over 100lbs of laundry.
