    Well, why not Along with 23 other cities, Wichita has more industrial

    Um...probably because a single factory in China employs more people than the entire city of Wichita.

    Anecdote: Cessna, the aircraft company, is based there, and is currently broadening their product line after getting slammed hard in the 80's. I know a few pilots and engineers there. AFAIK, it's a good place for an aircraft company, not the least of the reasons are that it's overly densely-populated (and, in turn, people b!tching about noisy airplanes flying overhead.) I'm sure it has other things going for it too.

    (But I still would never want to live there!)
    If you believe people should work till they die to pay for a government worker to retire at 50, you're a Democrat. Otherwise, you're a Republican. All other differences between the parties are trivial.
