Phone-Wielding Shoppers Strike Fear Into Retailers - WSJ.com
Remember the fun days when Best Buy would let you look at their PC to look up an item, only later to discover that you were looking at a fake price on the store Intranet, NOT the actual retail price and special being offered by Best Buy on the public Internet?
Those days seem to be over, and retailers are frightened.
How many times have you been in Best Buy (or the former Circuit City), or at Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, etc... looked at something and then the price tag and thought "surely I can find this cheaper somewhere else?"
I'm a die-hard RedLaser user. I wonder how this will change the face of retail in the city?
