Please note: Zane is not at the ACCT or the PSPCA. The paragraph highlighted in bold has the contact information if you are interested in adopting him.
Rescued from a shelter down south, Zane is a gorgeous dog who adores people, cuddling and walks. But living in a kennel is hard on this young, healthy boy and the stress is starting to show. Over the past few weeks, he’s lost weight and become very depressed. So his worried friends at Lulu's Rescue in Point Pleasant, Pennsylvania, are reaching out to local Best Friends members to help get Zane out of the kennel and into a good home.
Zane— called Zaney by his friends—is only 1 ˝ years old, neutered, housetrained and crate trained, too. He’s got expressive brown eyes and a beautiful, shiny black coat that hardly sheds at all. He’s a great walking or hiking buddy and loves to snuggle at night. Smart and eager to please, he’s up for just about any activity, as long as he can be by your side. Zane likes kids and would welcome older children (age 10 and up) to play with in his new home. But he’s not so good with doggy siblings. Sadly, he was adopted and returned a few weeks later because he didn’t get along with the family’s other dog. So this time around, he’s hoping to find a home where he can be the only dog and stay forever.
If you or someone you know can offer Zane a good home, please contact Francine at (609) 510-9052 or fmvitagliano@comcast.net. She’d be thrilled to hear from you and delighted to introduce you to Zaney, who is currently living in Kutztown, PA.
You can also help Zane find a home by posting his flyer wherever you work, shop or play.
Thank you for anything you can do to help this deserving dog and for everything you do for the animals. Each act of kindness brings us one step closer to No More Homeless Pets®.
