Jewels (A16940505) is a very sweet and affectionate female pit bull mix. She is approx. 5-8 years old and weighs 54 lbs. Jewels was surrendered to the shelter because her owners were moving and could not take her with them.

Jewels is not only adorable, she ALWAYS has a big smile on her face, she's smart too! She knows "sit," "paw," and "come" just for starters and is very treat motivated, so she's eager to learn more! Jewels is just the right size and age for any family, playful but past that “puppy” stage. She is enthusiastic about going for walks so we are using an Easywalk harness to help her learn not to pull on the leash. Jewels is perfectly happy to share her food and toys with you and with other dogs. She loves to play fetch and will give you back the ball every time and she will stop whatever she is doing to sit if you ask her to. She is great with body handling, and loves a good scratch and belly rub!

Jewels is happily sharing kennel space with another dog in our "paired housing" and would certainly enjoy having a doggie sibling in her new home. Come and meet her today!
