King (A16870735) is a SUPER AWESOME SENIOR! This FRONT DECLAWED 10-15 yr old boy was surrendered because his owners could not afford him anymore. This handsome gray boy is very sweet and people-oriented. He didn't even mind being picked up ...for his photos! He's definitely a senior with senior-related issues like arthritis, but he's in good spirits and has plenty of life and love left to give. If you're ready to truly save a life and give a VERY URGENT cat a second chance, then King's your boy! King is considered EXTREMELY URGENT because of his age and the shelter's current intake level. This cat is located at Philadelphia's animal control shelter, ACCT. They need immediate adoption or foster care. ACCT is located at 111 W Hunting Park Ave and is open 365 days a year. Lizzi (A16917579) is a beautiful 10-15 year old female black lab with
a flashy silver muzzle. Unfortunately this lovely lady was surrendered
to ACCT by her owners after they had her for just 6 months. We’re not
sure where Lizzy lived before her most recent home, but it breaks our
hearts to think that this senior girl is in housing limbo! Being an
older dog; she sometimes can’t hold it and has accidents and potty’s
in the house. Though for her that might be embarrassing, this dog has
so much love to give! Lizzy loves to be outside and give little tail
wags of thankfulness. It’s a good thing she’s good on a leash, she
could lose a few pounds! Lizzi has lived with cats and older children
and loves being around other dogs. She will sit and give you paw for
just a couple butt rubs. This dog has so much more life left in her.
