First here are some photos and videos that I've taken of him since he's been with us:

We've been calling him Trampler.
BASICS:
-About 6? months old
-Male
-All black
-1 unusable foreleg (which he doesn't appear to notice)
-Not neutered yet (but many places do it for a low fee and I would be willing to pay it myself if that's what it would take to get him into a good home. I'm out of work right now but I would absolutely try to do that much at least if it makes any difference.)
LONGER STORY:
My roommate brought this kitten home a few months ago. He was a stray and was set to be euthanized right away due to his odd leg injury (which has since healed up so he basically has 3 legs and is quite unhindered by the useless one). She thought we could foster him at our apartment til his leg got better and we were able to find him a new home. (She's fostered dozens of animals in the past.) Now the problem is that I've fallen in love with him, but one of my roommate's 3 other cats doesn't get along with him, so that recently he's had to stay in my bedroom all the time, which he hates, and my roommate can't sleep and is very upset. I have to find the kitten a place to go as soon as possible, because I don't have the option of moving out right now.
Please don't think I'm your average "got tired of my animal" pet dumper (and I know I have only posted 1 other time here but I do peruse the forums now and then, have found some helpful info for my adjustment to living in Philly!). I would absolutely keep him myself - like I said, I'm completely delighted with him, he's funny and cute and sweet and everything I expect from a kitten - but my roommate is so frustrated with him that she's about to take him to a shelter, and I don't know how much longer I can stall her, I'm afraid she's going to take him away while I'm not at home, she was even threatening to do it this weekend... I don't like his odds at a shelter so I've been trying to keep him here but it's come to a crisis between my roommate and me.
I'll be happy to answer any questions - please reply to this thread or email me at srhbth@gmail.com - and please feel free to offer any other suggestions even if you don't know anyone who could take him, I'm open to anything at this point!
Thank you so much for reading!

so he's not going to be hauled off to a shelter... But he still can't stay long-term, so if you know anyone who'd be interested, let me know! Thanks. I really want to find him a great home.
