St. Timothy's, an Episcopal parish in Roxborough, is having a St. Francis Festival on Saturday October 2 from 9 am til 3 pm. There will be a flea market, fall flower sale, and bake sale. There will be children's crafts such pumpkin decorating, spin art, and sand art. In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, there will be a blessing of the animals beginning at noon. Pets must controllable on a leash or pet carrier. A number of animal-oriented vendors, such as a homemade dog treat maker, will be available. There will be a special appearance of a former Vick dog, now enjoying a happy life. Come have your pet blessed, have your pet's photo taken with St. Francis (bring your camera), and enjoy a beautiful fall day.
