    Default Fireworks -- Kid Friendly?

Are there any displays that start on the early side? The Art Museum display on July 4 starts at 10.30, a bit late for us. I can't seem to find the start time for the Delaware River show this Saturday. Or perhaps there's a suburb nearby that has something starting at 9 or so? Thanks!

I am not sure of times but if you have young children and have not done fireworks before, be cautious. Mine all hated fireworks until they were older! Can be quite stressful if you are in crowded areas and they are melting down.

Thanks! This is really helpful. Does anyone know the start time of the fireworks over the Delaware this Saturday?

There are some fireworks that are designed for kids and which are non-toxic. But I think it's still best to not let your kids play with it, or just be very cautious when they're holding it. Hey guys, there's this new and free educational app called Maddie and Matt's A to Z's of Good Manners and Values available in the appstore, and I found it pretty nice for kids. Me and my daughter always play with that app on my iPad. I thought it was nice since the app aims on teaching kids good manners and proper behavior in various social settings. It is quite educational. You should check it out.

Absolutely not. If you take your children to a 4th of July fireworks show, I hope you are arrested and those kids are taken into protective custody. Everyone knows that these shows contain primary colors that excite brain function, and could lead to smiles. Smiles have also been linked to orgasms, which is plainly an adult thing that is sickening and taboo.

Additionally, there is absolutely no reason why any kid should be out after dusk because there are vampires whether you believe it or not.

Finally, the stress that is put on a kid by their anal retentive parents by constantly insisting to be at the front while using their dirty little puddles of gene pool is often too much to bear. Such incidents lead to divorce, homosexuality, and legions in despair as they provide fruit in the loins of any beast just to make up for the failed childhood you gave them.

    Most idiotic thread ever.
