I was glad to hear this, tired of all the lying and drama. What is sick is the extreme selfishness of this woman. She should have taken a page from this man and donated her exorbitant fee back to the kids who need it. Would have been the best way to kick her detractors in the teeth, brought her good publicity, redeemed her character and possibly gotten her a job elsewhere. Instead she simply confirmed all her detractors were saying about her.

ackerman's attorney said by mutual agreement, she's giving back $ for last yr of contract to help fund promise academies.

I think she's repeatedly demonstrated how much she "cares for the kids". Don't expect to see a dime of that anywhere but in her bank account.

On WURD Radio the standard line is that the complaints about her began when she awarded the security camera contract to IBS. The idea is "They" didn't want a minority contractor doing the job. Really the complaints began after the assaults on the Asian students at Southern, I've wanted her gone since then. This has been a long time coming, and while I don't like that she had to be paid off, the callers on Al B in the Afternoon will be furious. Can't wait to tune in on the drive home.
