Any child "play groups" in Roxborough/Manayunk?

My wife and I have twin daughters who will be 2 in October. They spend each day being cared for at our home. Our goal is to get them some interaction with some other children.

It was our hope to send them to "pre-school" for two mornings each week, but after reviewing all of the options we could find, we ran into a few problems with age requirements, minimum stay requirements and overall pricing. We thought we had found the perfect arrangement at that church near Ridge and Manayunk Ave. (Wissahickon Presbyterian?), but they require the child to be 2 years old by September first... our girls are a month behind that deadline.

Ideally, we'd like to get our girls somewhere from around 9am to 12 noon, two days per week. 6-8 hours total per week. So far, the Jane Munn (sp?) School looks like our only option, but it is slightly more than we wanted to pay for such a little amount of time.

Does anyone know of any scheduled play groups that take place in the Roxborough or Manayunk area? It doesn't even have have to be anything overly structured... just a bunch of kids running around at a park or gym somewhere. Maybe the occassional arts and crafts thrown in...

Just trying to find our kids some friendly interaction. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
