Does anyone have a recommendation for a martial arts program for a 5yo that has Sat. classes? Preferably in the city!

My daughter goes to American Black Belt Academy on 11th and I think they are AWESOME! It's afforable and they are great with the kids. They are into tradition and culture and discipline. They believe that kids should be respectful in and out of karate class and if a child misbehaves at home or school they are willing to help work through that with you. They are really top notch, I can't say enough good things about them. They are 100% South Philly people and/but they really practice what they preach. Check it out!

our son used to go to an awesome kung fu program at the palumbo rec center (on 13th just south of christian). Hassan Rucker was the instructor... awesome. we loved it. you might want to check if he's still there (it was Saturday mornings)

Shin Karate 7th & Oregon...I took my son to a couple of classes there and would definitely go back :-)

Karate is very important today because if our kids know Karate then they can do self defense by them self. My brother is the Karate champion and He have black belt, he likes Karate very much. He have won many medals in Karate.
