any feedback on carroll high school in port richmond?

I'm looking for a job in the district and this school looks interesting- only 400 kids in the school which is quite something for philly. i would love information or perspectives on the school. anyone?

It used to be a school for children with special needs, mostly mental retardation. Things may have changed so I would check it out. I'm sure they have a website.

I know someone who works in this school and there have been some racial incidents lately. Apparently the nieghborhood isn't too accepting of black people moving in.

Port Richmound is famous for it's lack of tolerance.

and however you look at, that is one of the major reasons why Port Richmond isn't Kensington.
