Good placeto get hair done in Old City?

Any good places that do cutting edge hair but reasonable? I've been going to a place in Queen's Village but want to make a change.

If there is one thing you can definitely do in Old City it's get your hair cut
I like Lakshmi and Moko, but you literally have about 10 choices.
Like most places , prices vary considerably depending on who cuts your hair

My husband likes East End. I went a few times and liked the hair cut but not the attitude, plus I preferred something closer to home.

My wife uses Moko and swears by Rachel. High quality place with a nice concept.

Thanks. I talked to a girl earlier in the day at Cafe Ole and she gets her hair done at moko. I'll give it a try and let you know!

I'm a huge fan of Lakshmi. I tried a bunch of places after moving out of Old City and now won't go anywhere else because I was always disapointed. Joseph is my favorite, but all the stylists are great. If you call the reception desk and tell them what kind of hair you have/cut you want, they are also really good about recommending somebody.

Thanks, my girlfriend got her hair highlighted and cut at moko today for their Tuesday promo and it looks great. She was booked with Rachel. I can't do Tuesdays, so I booked my appointment for Thursday with Monique. Read a lot of good things online - really excited to try it out.
