The first 16 weeks of your puppy’s life are the most important for socialization and for developing a healthy quality of life. Undersocialized puppies can become fearful and aggressive.
Start your puppy off on the right paw by attending Puppy Preschool at Center City Veterinary Hospital! Vaccinated puppies aged 8wks-4mos are encouraged to attend, although puppies up to 6mos may attend with permission. Sessions are just $5 for CCVH clients and $10 for non-clients (proof of vaccinations required) and are held Wednesdays from 6:30PM-7:30PM. There is no minimum or maximum number of sessions to attend, simply RSVP for the session(s) of your choice and pay for class when you arrive.
Class covers:
- Common puppy issues: House training, biting/chewing, jumping up
- Important commands: Watch Me, Sit, Settle, Come
- How to properly socialize your puppy
- How to maintain optimal physical health
- How to use training and care equipment
