I used to walk around putting the chairs back on the curbs just to spite the people.

We never put chairs out. Last night we did, Hubby had to pick daughter up from work at 11:00. No parking spaces near our house at all. We put them out. Our other car was already in our driveway. I saw people with chairs in spots at 3:00 when I drove her to work.

Once someone took my spot when I still lived in Mayfair. I forget what year it was, maybe 2003? Anyway, I was so pissed I double parked right next to him so he couldn't get out, then I let him sit out there beeping for almost an hour before I let him out. Haha!

I left the house for 20 mins today. Of course, when I came home, my spot was gone....dammit...

This is why I love having a driveway.

I've seen everything shoved into spots this week. Coffee tables, plastic benches stuffed into snow heaps, laundry detergent.

Luckily for me I don't have any idiots on my block and everybody kind of clears teh street together...as it should be.

I used to put out my artificial Xmas tree. With the lights on it! It was small, only about 4' tall. But I didn't use it that time that my spot was stolen. He asked why I didn't have anything to reserve the spot. I told him he knew he didn't dig it out, so he shouldn't have parked there.

Btw, that guy didn't live there. He was visiting someone on my street. I'm sure he never came back during a snow storm again.

LOL! Christmas tree!
Ther'es a thread floating somehwere on here people are taking pictures of all the crazy stuff in spots. Somebody put a giant Elvis head. We were laughing at it for a while last night.

That's my point exactly. You shouldn't have to put anything in frount of your house. People should just respect that fact that you dug that spot out, and exactly. Obviously somebody dug it out and you know it wasn't YOU, so don't take it.

I'm glad I, again, have my driveway. I can't imagine the frustration. We're not talking an inch or two of snow either it took my boyfriend nearly an hour to dig out of the driveway.
