Default NE Philly lowest Growth, Largest Burden

Read the Stats PDF issued Report by the Philadelphia City Planning Commission.
    NE Philly negative population growth.
Why is City and State Prejudice NE Philadelphia Residents?
Looks like Prejudice. Residents of NE Philly are being treated like Manure.

That's weird because the NE gained population in the last census, didn't it?

The population of Philadelphia has declined from 2 Million to 1.5 Million in 20 years.
But read the job specifics of the PCPC agency.

Use silly names like defining this project as GREEN.
We have serious financial problems in the City and State.
So install red light cameras on every block in NE Philly for revenue.
My next question for the City of Philadelphia.
Where are the 25,000 homes located that will pay the higher REAL ESTATE TAX BILLS?
Yet to be officially announced by the Mayor and Council.
According to the census data the homes with the largest increase in value are in located in Northern Liberties and Kensington section.
And the Homes with the smallest increase in Value are in the far North Northeast Philadelphia Section.
For reasons not explainable the white neighborhood had the smallest increase in Real Estate values?
I believe there is prejudice launched toward people that live in the predominately white section of the City of Philadelphia.
The new 2013 Real Estate Tax Bills that have yet to be mailed and might provide evidence to my claim.
I really wonder if I am correct or are those higher TAX bills in the neighborhoods with the largest increases in RE values?

I meant the last census. Actually, has the NE lost population in any census?

While it's true that the city's population has fallen from its all-time high, publicly available data indicates that Philadelphia saw a dramatic relative increase in population between the late 90s and early 2000s. The trend since then has flattened out but minor, incremental growth is obvious.

The new US census showed the population in the City of Philadelphia is in the vicinity of 1.5+ Million People.

    SEE PAGE 5:
    http://philaplanning.org/data/citystats05.pdf

The City of Philadelphia Link states there was 2.0 million people in Philadelphia 1960.
Today there are about 1.5 million people residing on Philadelphia.
    That is a 25% decline.

Now look at office leasing activity on page 15.

    1989 there was
4,776,000 square feet of lease activity in CC
    2003 there was
1,354,000 square feet of lease activity in CC

DOH DOH DOH hahaha I read statistics and math.

Err... but the NE won't follow the same trends as the rest of the city as a whole. If that were the case then you'd have expected the NE to have lost population from the 60s onwards, which certainly wasn't the case. The NE was still being built out in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. You're extrapolating the data for the whole city onto a district of the city, which is giving you a flawed perspective.

The city's population declined by about 25% over a span of about four or five decades, not over the past two decades, as you indicate. As the above linked graph shows, it's been pretty flat for the past two decades

The gain in population in the Northeast is actually a negative trend, because it can be explained by the welfare moms with 6 kids moving into house formerly occupied by a widow.

I shudder to say this but is this what happens when you support all the low income housing being built in the city. Those properties don't pay real estate taxes to the city do they? So I would guess the city needs to raise revenue somehow? And just think...those low income apartments are for salaries that are up to 200% over the poverty line and they may recruit out of state to actually fill those apartments.

Why are you looking at 2005 data and reports? That is seven years old.

Because newer data conflicts with his preconceptions...?
