Does anyone know what moved into the old Boulevard Lanes? It looks like some kind of an auto garage but there are no signs and the front windows are still boarded up. Seven days a week cars pull into the back garage. Looks a little shady.

I thought so too. If you ride in back you will see what I mean.
Sad since hip and happening bowling places are springing up elsewhere -- and can be pretty expensive.
One wonders if hospitals and colleges slowed their building sprees if their costs might be contained...
Well it is definitely not a part of Nazareth. Cars going in and out of the back garage 7 days a week and no sign. Maybe I've just been a city resident too long but it makes me suspicious.
Report it to L&I.
I just filed an inquiry. Thanks
That is strange. When I called the number on the building for the leasing they told me no one had secured the acres. When I called the hospital to verify which was posted from this very website they told me their lawyers were in talks but nothing.
Then I heard from one of the owners across the street that the bowling owner was still renting it out so who knows what is going on.
That's why I'm concerned. i did get in touch with L & I yesterday and will see what they say. Chop Shop is the first thing that comes to my mind.
UPDATE! I was contacted via e-mail that there is a zoning use permit for the sales and service of new cars and for storage of accessories. I don't know who would go there with no signs.
This is where the brand new Phila L&I website comes in hand with its new app:

Sounds like the place I visited once on Damar Drive when I was shopping for a used car. Just a warehouse with cars, SUV's and trucks crammed bumper to bumper. Nice vehicles at good prices, but no way to test drive because the cars were so jammed in there. They told me my test drive would be the drive home after I buy it, and then I could return it if I didn't like it... AHH HAH HAH HAH, SEE YA's!!!!
The last time I was there (my kids go to karate in the neighboring building), most of the cars there had Barbera stickers on them. I assumed he leased the space to hold more cars for sale, or something like that...
