Default Anyone know what the deal is with this clutter house on Red Lion Road by 232?

We drive past it all the time - there's a high school across the street, and a baseball field next to it.

The owner has a TON of clutter in his yard...so much to the the point that my preschooler constantly wants to stop and check out whats in the yard.

What's the deal with all the clutter?

Probably a hoarder of some sort. Or a garden variety slob.

Some will call it clutter. Others would call it collectibles. Have you ever really taken a good long look ? Some cool stuff in there. Most of the signs, relics, etc are over 50 years old. Just like your pre-schooler, I find it quite interesting too.
I want to stop and look also.

That house actually has some VERY interesting things, although they are probably some sort of hoarder given the sheer amount of stuff.

This one, in Langhorne, is WAY worse, as it is, actually, junk - Bing Maps - Driving Directions, Traffic and Road Conditions

Make sure you dont stop and enter the premises I hear the owner is a bit off when it comes to people thinking the stuff is for sale...

I've wondered about that Red Lion house as well. Can you imagine what the inside looks like?

I'm not into the Hoarders show, but I do like American Pickers. But even some of the junk owners on that show are hoarders. They won't part with ANYTHING, no matter how much cash the guys offer them. And I'm talking junk that has just about rotted beyond any useful purpose...

Now, I don't know their story, but I'd say just the fact that they have their "collectables" outside like that, in some way they are proud of what they own and don't mind sharing. A full blown hoarder has everything packed away to the point where they don't even know what they have in there.

And thanks for the tip to not stop!

A friend of mine is a hoarder.
The house is cluttered with shipping boxes, collectables, stacks of Hess Trucks and Star Trek stuff.
One back bedroom has shelves on one wall packed with junk.
Up the stairs - unopened/opened mail stacked on each step.
Kitchen - littered with bags of stuff and sink piled high with dishes.
We've all joked about it, but he won't do much to change.

    I couldn't live that way.
I'm not obsessed with neat, but when I come home I want to look at a home, not a storage warehouse.

Personally I find the house fascinating! I was just curious if anybody knew the story behind it, whether the owners for collectors, whether there was a theme or reason why they put the things out, if the school gave them any problems about it, etc.
