Please come to the Tacony Civic Association's Clean and Green meeting at the Tacony Library (Torresdale and Knorr) on January 25th at 6pm. The TCA would appreciate any volunteers that could help or are interested in helping with any clean and green matters in the neighborhood.

I am not going to be able to volunteer but I want to spread the word about the fact that you can get a free tree for your yard or sidewalk through a new city initiative... more info is at treephilly.org

I signed up myself and recently got a new tree- they even planted it for me.... I think Tacony could use more trees in some areas!
