For those of you who don't know, Milt Martelack has re-organized the new Mayfair Town Watch and tonight is his first meeting. If you've ever been involved in Mayfair Town Watch before and have left because of the previous administration, it's time to come on back because there's a new sheriff in town! Milt's got a whole new vision and things are gonna change!

The CIVIC, not TOWN WATCH (although in attendance), hosted the meeting to discuss what is in the best interest of the neighborhood. Before this business was to be opened, there were some legitimate concerns that the neighbors had and wanted the opportunity to voice these concerns - hence - the meeting. The last that I heard, everyone is still working very well together to come up with a good solution for all.

And before you go spinning off about how the Civic is also receiving "grant money" - SHOW ME!

THe location isn't "near" me. It at an intersection that I frequent, and therefore can speak with experience as to the pros/cons of such a business as a car rental agency. So, since you clearly are just inputting your comments in an area you have no knowledge, please find something else to do in your area of Old City. Last I read, there was plenty to keep you busy.
