I don't know how familiar people are with the actual effects of Methadone and how it is used to treat the patients so I thought I'd post this interesting article I "stumbled" upon. I want to preface this by saying that I am in no way an advocate of methadone clinics and it is absolutely abhorrent that there is seemingly so little restriction on who runs Methadone clinic's and how they are "policed" by the local government. But arm yourselves with knowledge in this case by checking out this article, which can be a little convoluted at times but shows how a methadone clinic can be successfully run by a proprietor who is not out to generate some extra cash at the expense of a good neighborhood and drug addicts.
