Good dentist for the uninsured in the NE?

I've browsed the forum at the numerous dentists threads but there were none that really specifically answered my question... Someone I know is in need of at least need a few fillings, unfortunately, they don't have dental insurance. My dentist charges around $300 or so on back teeth if I remember correctly -- naturally, that's too pricey if you need a few. Can anyone recommend any good dentists in the NE that are relatively cheap compared to that? The person would rather go to a dentist than a dental school... Any info is appreciated.

Along the same lines, I've got another question... has anyone ever used Universal Dentistry in Bensalem? The reviews don't seem too promising.

I got something that was basically credit at one place. I would think a lot of doctors provide the option.
I think it was called care credit. I forget the details, but I put all the dental work on the account I opened and paid it off in a few months.

Try Seth Miller on Pine Rd. Don't know his exact prices but an honest and fair guy, small operation with low overhead.

Dr. Danzig Cottman and Crispin 215.624.6181. I've used him all my life. I have insurance now, but never had dental before and his prices are always fair, especially when you are uninsured.

Is Mark Krupnick still there on Torresdale and Tyson? He was awesome. I went to him many years ago and he used to accept payments monthly until paid off.
