Girard Ave is the closest stop, though you could use Cecil B. Moore if it would make you feel more comfortable. Broad Street is perfectly safe that time of night, especially on a Friday.

I'm assuming you are asking because you are going to the fights there friday night? Though I can't make it this friday I've been there many times and usually walk from the Blue Horizon back to Girard via Broad Street to catch a cab home. I've never had a problem and obviously I've made this walk after the fights; around 11pm. You'll be fine.

Yeah, Broad Street line at Girard. I've been going there for a few years now for Friday night fights, usually with a female friend and I've always felt completely fine. But even now since we first started going, it's dramatically improved.

I usually park right by there if I get there 30 minutes before the show starts. Homeless guys always try and "charge you" to park but they're harmless and if you tell them you'll pay them when you get back and then don't (I never do), it isn't an issue at all.
