Prepare to be depressed fast. Lots of guns but more knives than you could imagine in assaults everywhere.

Listened for about 10 minutes & heard about a dead biker or skateboarder, a gun fight in a large crowd, the theft of a bottle of vodka & the chase of someone on 676. Somehow I'd rather listen to the watered-down news than listen to this graphic stuff. But, that's just me.

I used to have an actual scanner back in the day, but not only did it pick up police... occasionally it randomly got portable phone calls from the neighborhood... BUT now, yes, I have the app on my phone, you can listen to police or fire from all over the country.
