Default CORRECTION: Younger Brother *NOT* A Suspect

Fox 29 reported this story as well this morning, but in the past hour has corrected it to say that the police state the the younger brother is not a suspect and is not the second man in the video. They are questioning him as a witness (not necessarily as a direct witness to the murder itself).

Officer's Suspected Shooter Gives Statement, Brother Questioned - Philadelphia News, Weather and Sports from WTXF FOX 29

Police clarified Friday morning that the younger brother is not one of the men seen on surveillance video near the fatal shooting scene, and he is not a suspect in the officer's murder.

Police simply wanted to question family and friends of the shooting suspect.

Grandma needs to be investigated. I'm being nice about what really needs to happen to Grandma.

You can only hope that one day something terrible happens to her and people choose not to cooperate.

She knows that her and her family are the lowest of the low, she's just trying desperately to deny it so she can convince herself to wake up in the morning.

Blogger creates Facebook page to support alleged cop killers

McNesby said he talked with District Attorney Seth Williams on Saturday, and that Williams' office will look into whether it could charge Albert with harassment or terroristic threats.

"It looks like he's soliciting people to kill [cops] for profit," McNesby said. "There's a lot you can hide behind with the First Amendment, but not on this one. It's going too far."

FOX29 first reported on the Facebook page on Saturday.

McNesby said he has tried to reach out to Facebook to get the page taken down.

Since then, another page has been created in support of removing Albert's page: Remove The Cop Killers Support Page | Facebook. More than 5,800 people had liked it as of 1 p.m. Sunday, compared to only 55 people liking Albert's page.

It's called police work and they would be remiss if they didn't use everything and everyone to solve murders. You're still a fool.

I really hope a car does not run you over tomorrow. But if such a thing were to happen, I hope a bike officer saves your life. You coward.

You don't think the public helped to arrest Officer Walker's killers ?

I'm sure that they would've caught the suspects regardless of the six figure reward. Obviously people would help get a person like this off the streets. If they shoot cops they won't get have a problem shooting us regular folk

Yes, if they shoot cops they'll shoot us regular folk, too and that's precisely the problem. If you've seen the videos posted online you will not that the officer is in street clothing, not a drop of uniform showing. To is murderers he was one of us.

But I will pose directly to you what I asked up thread...what if he managed to draw his weapon a shade faster and shot and killed at least one of his assailants, wouldn't people be crawling out of the woodwork to be witnesses on behalf of them instead? And while I can understand some of the reticence over "snitching", isn't that really part of the problem behind a lower than desired clearance rate?
