I could have put this under SEPTA as well, I suppose. But it's more about North Philadelphia architecture so I put it here instead. But then, this should be in Philly architecture, right?
Anyway, I remember that SEPTA announced a plan to tear down the historic trolley stop shed at 33rd and Dauphin. Even though the all the routes serving it are now bus, it caused an uproar due to the facility's history and aesthetics. I rode by it yesterday on the 61 to Manayunk and it appears to have both a new coat of beige paint and a zoning notice on it. Is it a demolition notice, or a new notice needed to proceed with repairs to the existing structure instead? I don't have a clue.
