There's mandatory evacuations for all Atlantic Co. shore points and Long Beach Island for 6am tomorrow also
My niece lives in Cape May county and was evacuated. She said they weren't collecting tolls on many of the roads out to keep the traffic moving. This was earlier in the afternoon and she said it looked like thousands of cars were on the road.

I'm going to be securely home, because no boat crews are going out during this storm. After, well we'll see. I can be underway within an hour, so if they need us my go bag is ready to go but I imagine I'll be riding this one out at home.
Hopefully this goes trends away from the WCS.

Yeah, they're all supposed to be built to survive hurricanes (except Claridge's which has survived more than its fair share). I'd guess they're worried about a Katrina-trye situation, where they suddenly have large groups of people trapped in the hotels for an extrended period of time, though the tourists who were trapped in the hotels in New Orleans made out about as well as anyone.
It's the storm surge that's worrying them this time, that boardwalk could be destroyed.
The Wildwoods have imposed an islandwide curfew starting at 4pm tomorrow, maybe the rumors of possible looting are being taken seriously. Hopefully Greens will be open, what's a good hurricane without beer and smokes?
