    Default Wildwood Restaurants

I rented a place for the week in North Wildwood and I wanted some suggestions of good restaurants I can check out. I usually just take day trips so we get some typical boardwalk food. I've seen a few places that offer a $9.95 surf and turf which I don't even want to attempt since I'm going to guess you get what you pay for there.

    What does everyone recommend?

The Wharf - outside deck menu is sandwiches and finger foods, inside menu are sit down dinners, very good! My favorite bar scene and happy hour (live music, drink specials, great location and atmosphere)

La Piazza - Very good Italian

Piro's Village Restaurant - The restaurant not the pizza joint. Very good Italian food!

Nino's Family Restaurant- EXCELLENT, varied menu

    Bar/Restaurants that are good:
Tuckers Pub: Irish bar with a very good dinner menu

The Bayview- In Wildwood Crest. Great atmosphere and a decent menu. Good happy hour specials.

Fitzpatrick's Crest Tavern- Standard bar fare.

Westy's is pretty good for lunch, and the Boathouse is good for a dinner night; it's more on the expensive side.

I haven't been in WW since I was 14. It's in Rio Grande. And, you're uninformed.

Neil's Steak and Chowder House on Schellenger Ave. is great. Ravioli House is decent. Urie's is also good for seafood, but expensive.

Two of my favorite Wildwood places, along with Ravioli House, a red gravy place that brings back a lot of memories.

If your looking for fine Italian dining checkout Gia on the 3000 block of Pacific Ave. Gia Restaurant in Wildwood, NJ
If your in the mood for the best BBQ on the island checkout South Dock marina/Smokin Bones BBQ(10th and the bay) Fri and Sats only starting at 5pm. Both places are BYOB.

been going to WW for over 40 years. Cannot recommend Neils or Uries. Boathouse is better then Uries for seafood and I would recommend Duffys on the lake for steak

I have been very impressed with both these places for Italian. Alfie's, which gets alot of hype, was a big disappointment for me.

Also wanted to mention Bill's Corner Deli for Pizza and incredible wings!!

If you want a hoagie or cheesestake you have to try Russo's (10th and Surf)!! A&LP (on New JErsey Ave) have great sandwiches as well!!
