I don't understand something... If you've seen Sindi and Jimmy play in the past you should have expected exactly what you saw.. they are an awesome band and yes they throw the "F" and all kinds of other words out there but that is them, the middle finger is their flag. and Reberson is you believe for one second your kids are not singing the actual words to that C Lo Green song then you my friend are living with your head buried in the sand. I am not calling you a bad parent for having fun and drinking with your kids around because that is not true but as I said you've seen them in the past and should've known their M.O. plus there is a big sign that says "Explicit Lyrics".. I personally love their version of as you say forget you, when I am there I get mentioned in the song.. Steve's got a big d**k and I may wear a black Sindi Raymond band T shirt but I am not a crack head slobbering on myself you don't know me just as I have no clue who you are and I take exception to you calling me or any one names. In closing let me tell you this.. Sindi and Jimmy have hundreds if not thousands of fans in Jersey/Philly and I am one of them, they have actually played family birthday parties and they always ask about the kids and what lyrics are ok.. they are the hardest working band down the shore playing almost every night to packed houses.. they are not the monsters you are making them out to be... SINDI RAYMOND BAND ROCKS.. and I will always be a fan.
I do not think that they are by any means, "monsters" and, as I posted, I have seen them perform many times but NEVER heard them use explicit language to the extent in which they did a few weekends ago. Also, I did not notice any signs out front of the Wharf warning that their performance included "explicit lyrics". To be honest, I always enjoyed the band in the past (much more so than any of the other "regular" acts at the Wharf).
I don't believe that I have to be considered naive for believing that my children do not know the explicit version of Cee Lo's song. In fact, I know that they hadn't ever heard the expilcit version, well up until at the Wharf on May 28th. They are 5 and 7. If they were say 14 or 15 then sure, with the internet and other avenues, they would have probably heard the other version.
As far as the crack headed slobering on themselves post, I apologize. It was uncalled for.

apology accepted, Thank You. I was not there that weekend so I can't say too much about it and can only speak of other times I've been. Sometimes the shots of Crown start flowing and well you know…I didn't realize the children were so young, you're a brave man taking out kids that age, I remember when my kids were that age and how much of a pain they were to take care of and keep an eye on especially down the shore, my wife and i would go nuts.. as far as the signage goes, it is usually on the stage behind them and not out front of the restaurant/bar they are playing. Most of the songs on today's radio, whether it be rock, rap or what have you are only water downed versions of the original which they play.
I am more than sure if you would have asked your waiter/tress to ask them to tone down the language or even asked them yourself they would have. these are the nicest, most approachable people you would ever want to meet and they would have honored your request to back down on the cursing, I was actually at one of their shows last night and while speaking with them about this they said that exact same thing, (about aking them) so that is really a quote directly from them. this has them very upset as it is their mission for EVERONE to enjoy themselves at their shows and they NEVER have the intention of offending anyone as you can tell by Sindi's response earlier in this post.
If you do like the band, I hope you continue to come out to see them, next time without the kids though. hell I'll even buy you a beer and make sure it's ice cold this time.
