On the contrary, Joe Biden did vote in favor of.
I am surprised how little mentioning this blatant lie has gotten today.

Been there, done that. The only blatant lie are the right wing talking heads saying he said that.
What Biden actually said.
"them" in the latter sentence clearly refers to "a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthy" though he did bungle the plural vs. singular agreement. Its embarrasing that you would resort to reposting this kind of dross, adam. No sane politician would oppose going after the people who attacked the World Trade towers because it was too expensive. in the context, there is no doubt he was refering to the tax cuts.“By the way, they talk about this great recession like it fell out of the sky–like, ‘Oh my goodness, where did it come from?’” Biden said. “It came from this man voting to put two wars on a credit card, at the same time, put a prescription drug plan on the credit card, a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthy.”
“I was there, I voted against them,” Biden continued. “I said, no, we can’t afford that.”
Can we talk about how counterintuitive this non issue is? Biden for the last three months has been saying the catch phrase "bin laden is dead, gm is alive" what 5 times a day. Suddenly that same guy is going to say he didn't vote for the unanimous authorization to go after al queda? Cmon. Use your head.

Because you actually believe Mr."Bin Laden is dead, GM is Alive" suddenly forgot that he voted for the unanimous authorization to go after al Queda? Really?
Its not very impressive to mindlessly regurgitate these half-digested talking points from delivered from "on high". Its right up there with FKD's Facebook graphics.
The items Biden says he voted against are
1. the invasion of Afghanistan
2. the invasion of Iraq
3. the Medicare Modernization Act, aka the prescription drug plan
4. the Bush tax cuts
We can agree without controversy that Biden did vote against (3.) and (4.)
(2.) is tricky because there was more than one vote, as Kerry made famous when he was running for POTUS. Like him, Biden did vote for the Iraq War Resolution, but when it came to allocating funds for it, both voted for a separate bill, which tied it to a cancellation of the Bush tax cuts. It failed, obviously.
The only really false statement is (1.), and not just because Biden was never an opponent of the Afghanistan war(s), but because he's also been the no. 2 man in the Obama administration (not against war in Afghanistan by any measure).
For a guy who once claimed that President FDR went on television in 1929 after the markets crashed, it's not his worst howler. But it is inaccurate.
Lord knows Joe Biden has a mouth that seems to exercise independent of his brain, quite frequently in fact, but its a decidedly counterintuitve misreading of the sentence to suggest that "them" referred to the war votes. If he had said "trillions of dollars of tax cuts for the very wealthy" instead of "a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthy" I doubt anyone would be attempting such an inherently unlikely interpretation at all.“By the way, they talk about this great recession like it fell out of the sky–like, ‘Oh my goodness, where did it come from?’” Biden said. “It came from this man voting to put two wars on a credit card, at the same time, put a prescription drug plan on the credit card, a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthy.”
“I was there, I voted against them,” Biden continued. “I said, no, we can’t afford that.”
This thread is like a guy going into the police station and saying "The murder last night, I think I saw it. I was taking my dog for a walk at 3AM. I did it because he hasn't been out all week" and then arresting the guy on the spot for murder. Its a deliberate misreading of the most logical interpretation of a pronoun.
I've given it a little more thought, and this is crucially important. By making the funding of the wars contingent on cancelling the BTC, Biden patently did not vote "to put two wars on a credit card"; Ryan did.
You could argue that there's still a touch of duplicity in Biden's phrasing, but it's at most a minor imprecision. Surely, he must have said something more outrageous on Thursday night—?
Hate to remind you of this, It was the policy of GWB to kill bi laden, also the check with GM's name on it was singed by GWB, Obama stalled it so he could work out deals with the union, also I may remind, GWB pull out date was 2014. So what policy did Obama ever come up with on his own????? Close Gitmo.... & apologize. LMAO.
No, that is a very poor example because it is not similar at all. First, you broke up the statement with irrelevant info. Second you created distinct statements as opposed to a list.
If you wanted to use your example, it would be more like:
A guy went into the police station to identify a suspect and says "The murders came from this man committing a shooting, a stabbing, a strangulation."
"I was there, I tried to stop them."
Be honest for a sec. Are you really laughing your ass off? Does this make you guffaw until your sides hurt and the tears are running? Does this literally, truly rank up there with Richard Pryor and "Chuckles the Clown" and Lucy working in the candy factory? I'm just curious.
You are really spinnning here, adam, both gramatically and argumentatively.
Maybe, sort of, if you included "I tried to stop them. My hands got this rope burn trying to pull off the rope." Where the last sentence makes the context perfectly clear that they are talking about the strangulation.
"I said, no we can't afford that." In the context of a question fro the moderator about deficit reduction and tax policy.
“By the way, they talk about this great recession like it fell out of the sky–like, ‘Oh my goodness, where did it come from?’” Biden said. “It came from this man voting to put two wars on a credit card, at the same time, put a prescription drug plan on the credit card, a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthy.”
“I was there, I voted against them,” Biden continued. “I said, no, we can’t afford that.”
Adam, this is pathetic. Really.

Yes I do LMAO at the misinformed people who try to defend this President, They have no clue who he really is and what he stands for. The crux of the problem is the main stream press who is in Obama's camp. How could the press be so against GWB and not lean the same way towards Obama, is it the big phony smile? Maybe it's the food stamps, that's 50k votes....LMAO So it has to be ideology.
It was one of several blatant lies.
He lied about who in the administration knew what when with regards to Libya security and he lied about Catholic institutions not having to pay for the HHS mandates.
I hope he keeps throwing the intelligence community and Hillary under the bus. The Clintons don't take too kindly to that sort of thing.![]()
"Ask not what your country can do for you". Yeah right.
