I fully expect Obama to mop the floor with Mitt (or I hope so) on about the 10% of issues they disagree on.

Politics and debating skills aside, I'm sure Romney will just make himself more unlikeable to Obama's supporters and the undecided. We all know that's what's important to enough people to swing votes in Obama's favor. I just can't see Romney being successful at this, he was borderline comical in the primaries.

Obama has the better hand. He is a good BS'ing politician and mittens is a good businessman but a bad politician .. advantage Obama. The only hope is Obama is sometimes a mess when he is off prompter so if he goes off script that could change the entire debate.
I think tonight could decide the election.
Republicans in the Oval Office are history until Christie wins their nomination.
Tonight will be laughable.
Obama by 4 touchdowns.
I don't know, Obama is really horrible without his master, the teleprompter !!! I expect a lot of umms, ahhhs and dancing around by Obama. Can he really go on his past record?
Just got a text message from (410)-000-003:
Well, that does it, folks. There's always 2016!FRM: romney68wins@obama191loses.com MSG: Romney Wins Debate!
I think the things to look for is will Romney overdo it as far as being "on attack" and drilling Obama on his record. There's likely a fine line between being confident and winning a debate, versus coming off like a jerk. An inverse relationship if you will. Hurting his likeability. Obama, on the other hand can be longwinded, and come off too scholarly. Especially when defending things he did Romney questions him on "Well now, let me explain..."
I think Romney is more likely to interrupt & chime in while Obama's speaking. Both, but myb Obama moreso, are likely to finish responding to the previous question before answering the current question. Something I hate! ("Explain how the economy can better be stabilized" "Well, ok, I'll answer that. But first I want to go back to what he said about Fracking...").
The biggest thing to look out for is preventing any "Ooops" moments... Off the cuff remarks gone bad, jokes, or just getting things wrong. Or a zinger too over the top, becoming an insult. Anyway, here.... we... go.........

not a romney supporter here, but i would say he's holding his own so far. (ok, just 30 min in) i think the line "i want to build jobs" is a good one. but.... saying no new revenue just doesn't sound credible...
I dont agree with most of what he is saying but Mittens has destroyed the boy wonder so far
Wow as I never thought he would go at BamBam like this
Obama
"now would be a good time to move on"
Holy LULZZZ
NTC, don't believe a word you say, but very funny!
"What are these tax cuts for comapnies that ship overseas, No one knows what you are talking about. You need a new accountant"
Mittens aint playin tonight
Basically, if you hire people in one country and claim your profits in another, its a huge tax loop hole.
Greatest president "ever"
lol
I think he actually said "Maybe I need to get a new accountant", but yeah it was a good line. I agree Romney seems to be dominating it tonight. Almost seems Obama didn't prepare, although myb the 08 debates were similar just that Obama was right place, right time (opposite party of current disliked Prez, up against aging man in same party as unliked candidate).
Not sure how Romney matches up with factchecks afterwards, but he's sure making a better impression.
he's a good "public speaker"
