I am just shocked at the adminstration total disregard for the only real friend we have in the middle east.

Strange kind of "disregard" seeing as Obama has given more military aid to Israel than any president ever, and Ehud Barak (Israeli Defense Minister) and Shimon Peres (President) both find him totally supportive.
The only difference between Obama and other presidents is that Obama is willing to publicly call out Bibi on his counterproductive belligerence. And sometimes it takes a real friend to tell you like it is.
Fox news says Obama does not support Israel, so it must be so.
Not sure what you are getting at but supporting a return to near-'67 borders with land swaps is neither a new position for the US nor "disregard" for Israel considering that most Israelis want peace and are willing to pay that price. Netanyahu and his right-wing partners do not represent the opinion of the whole country.
I didn't say '67 borders, I said '67 borders plus land swaps. That with a very limited "right of return" for Palestinians and of course acceptance of the Israeli state is palatable to a majority, if maybe a slim one, of Israelis. At worst is 50/50. The reality is that outside of Israel wiping out the Palestinians, this plan is the only viable route to peace and a smart Israeli leader dedicated to peace could make it happen and gain support of the people.
Back on topic--regardless of Israeli opinion, '67 + swaps has been the US position for years leading up to Obama. His support of it is nothing new.
I want to know if the OP was suggesting that "the Jews" must or should be of one mind, or instead asking for the individual Jews on this board to provide their opinion?
I certainly would never purport to speak for an entire group of people (e.g. Women, Philadelphia, lawyers). My personal opinion, which has nothing to do with my being a Jew, is that Bibi is an ******* and I'm glad to see Obama acting reasonably instead of running scared of AIPAC just because there's an election coming up.
In 2008, a far higher percentage of Jews voted for Obama than members any other major American religious denomination. The same will hold true this election.
American Jewish voters are no more a monolith than any other group, but a significant number trust Obama to manage Middle East foreign policy more responsibly than Romney and they will vote accordingly.

Really?
Really?
Are you really that ignorant?
For those who don't have time to watch an entire policy speach, here's a synopsis from that no-good lefty rag, the Christian Science Monistor.
Obama to AIPAC: 'I have Israel's back' - CSMonitor.com
I'm a Jew and like many Israeli's that actually live there... am not a warhawk nut job.
Netanyahu is in a tough place, has to please Orthodox crazy people and Russian immigrants that think nothing of kicking people out of land (in the USSR this would seem tame).
Just because bibi has those demographics to deal with doesn't mean Obama does. No reason for our president to parrot the Israeli right when he doesn't have to.
Yeah but the Russian immigrant and Orthodox yahoos that are his core constituency are also a bunch of racist arseholes.
