Bad news for US, bad news for Obama campaign.
+96K in Aug.
-41K revision for June/July
bad trend here. 97K jobs/month over last 6 months, and only two more jobs report prior to election.

They've been revising those numbers down for months it seems, I'm at the point where I don't even blink when BLS releases their numbers. Might as well wait a month for them to revise down to the accurate numbers.
You might be a tad bit optimistic that voters will hold the House accountable, but not the Senate or the President.
I loved parts of Clinton's speech, particularly his breakout of jobs created under D and R presidents since 1961. Ironically, since Clinton's first year as president, American's are infinitely better off with Republican control of one or both houses of congress when it comes to jobs.
Since Jan 1993 the US economy added 23.57 MM jobs.
with Rep House and Rep Senate: + 20.74 MM jobs
with Rep House and Dem Senate: + 2.84 MM jobs
with Dem House and Dem Senate -0.11 MM jobs

WE CAN'T conjure up jobs.
Remember "I believe in Fair Trade"?
Brought to us by President Bush.
People in India Have Masters Degrees that costs only $450.
They (Free Trade) put a Collar on our job market.
The republicans made the Rich Richer and the Middle Class Poor.
No one in the USA can compete against an citizen in INDIA with a Masters Degree that costs only $450.
You can not use those INDIA degrees in the USA.
Their Doctors come here and are Medical Technicians while in INDIA they are Medical Doctors.
They complain but in the USA their degrees are of little value.
REPUBLICANS MANIFEST: YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAX THE RICH.
SEE every bill Obama tried to pass to make taxes fair for the Rich.
The PUKES stopped all the tax Bills for the wealthy.

First of all, they were elected to obstruct. Scott Brown was elected in MA for crying out loud. Secondly, this critique assume Keynesianism is true. Sure you can give me cocaine and I'll forget about my withdraw symptoms for a little bit. What's really needed is underlying problems to be corrected.
IN 1971 I stood at 15 & Market wearing an ARMY Jacket with an UPSIDE DOWN USA FLAG.
(symbol for distress in the USA)
Selling underground newspapers to commuters.
There was have a lot of pissed off people tell me off for wearing an upside down flag.
BUT, the most interesting part was I would sell OUT the UNDERGROUND newspapers.
A LOT of people were against the VIETNAM War.
Maybe bored riders wanted to read alternative news views not "mainstream" INKY, BULLETIN and Daily News sports.
I was a member of an organization in Philadelphia called RESISTANCE.
I wore the resistance OMEGA T-Shirt.
Megaphones at 15th and Market you ask?
BEEN THERE

It is bad for America, but at this point I think how people are going to vote is pretty much set at this point. Now it is just going to be a get out the vote effort. Only a really good or really bad jobs report I think will change people's minds.
Though in larger economic terms this probably does mean more QE, maybe even in September, which could rally the market more and make things seem better. Unemployment down to 8.1, but I think it will take years for that to get better as so many people are just not employable at this point, or at least not in the way they were before they lost their jobs.
Of course if Romney gets in and does make drastic cuts, we will see those unemployment numbers increase as Feds and States have to lay people off.
I think it might be wishful thinking on your part. The last thing I want is a republican telling me to suck it up and work at Mcdonalds if I loose my job. I sure as hell don't want to be sitting at home w/ my fingers crossed after I've sent my hundredth resume out hoping the republicans will cooperate and extend unemployment benefits before they vote for a rich tax cut.
I also don't think the young crowd wants to hear Mittens suggest that we just ask our parents for money if their drowning in student loans.
This job report will just be like every other political thing. Its preaching to the choir. One side says the jobs reports sucks cause republicans obstructed everything and the other says Obama's isn't doing his job cause hes a stupid muslim and that regulations need to be cut.
I love the regulations are too strict complaint. Who gets laxer regulations? Just the banks, and anyone capable of large scale environmental damage? My job would be a lot easier without regulations. People might die but I would make more money.
