I also heard this a few weeks ago, that the Obama admin. was letting the guns go free so they could trash the 2nd amendment. After getting to know the President for the past 3.5 years and remembering his speech, that his goal is to "fundamentally transform America " and his refusal to turn over the information. This idea could very well have some merit.
