    What local companies are getting hit?

    I am more in the interactive space, but I know 3 interactive companies who have had pretty significant layoffs in the last 3 months.

    Anyone know about any layoffs at the local traditional agencies / other companies?

    I have a friend that in the last year was laid off by Dell Computer, got a job at Intel and then got laid off, got a job at Sprint then got laid off. He is contemplating re-enlisting in the Army at 39 years old.

    My friends are dropping like flies. I got some great news, we won't be getting laid off for six months, Yippee!
