Default Bank of America Gets Pad Locked After Homeowner Forecloses On It

Collier County, Florida -- Have you heard the one about a homeowner foreclosing on a bank?

Well, it has happened in Florida and involves a North Carolina based bank.

Instead of Bank of America foreclosing on some Florida homeowner, the homeowners had sheriff's deputies foreclose on the bank.

It's funny but it makes no sense. You can't foreclose on someone because of their debt to you. You'd have to have a lien on their property. I guess the local court ruled that the local branch was the asset that should be seized and that's how it's a "foreclosure"? Is pretty funny--and scary that the banks make so many mistakes.

A mistake is one thing... but they took it all the way to court?!

It probably was the only thing that could get their attention.

Previously, an equally popular story was coming out of Philadelphia. The goth guy who owns Digital Ferret in fabric row but a lien on and got a sheriff's sale against the wells fargo local branch due to a screw up on his mortgage.

hehehehehe.... yeah, he's pretty funny! If you google 'vampire forecloses on wells fargo' a bunch of interviews come up. He was on every major network about this. He did a pretty good job telling people what to do.
