    Default Bars in the Snowstorm

I ended up hanging out at McNally's for awhile on Saturday afternoon and it was pretty steady all afternoon and a good time. I wondered (since this other storm is definitely coming) if anyone went to any of the Mt. Airy places during the storm. Anyone hang out and McMenamin's, Wine Thief, EB &B? Were they all open?

Saturday evening, I walked onto the Avenue and only got as far as McMenamin's. It was open and packed. I went in but did not re emerge for hours. I can only assume all the bars were open.

Wifey and I dragged our butts into McMen's around 1-ish on Saturday. Not a huge crowd, maybe 10 or so, but a good crowd nonetheless.

It was fun hanging out there right by the window to watch the snow fall, and cars trying the navigate germantown ave. Good times.

We too were at McMenamins on Saturday. Packed the kid in her backpack on my back, and went down in the early evening. We had to wait for a table, as there were two huge parties. There was a wait for tables the whole time we were there, and the bar area was packed on the way in and out.
Walked by Earth on our way, and it was closed, though they were out shoveling the sidewalk. Wine Thief was open and crowded too.

Stopped by EB & B around 5 to grab a growler to wait out the storm. They were definitely open and Tom claimed that he was going to open tomorrow too. I'll not be a happy camper if I sled over with the kiddies and he's closed. Thanks for advice re: McMenamin's...knew PJ would be snow trooper.

Yes, I received that greeting on Wednesday night and then they immediately hung up! I guess they said all they needed to.
