Default Condition of Forbidden Drive after Sandy?

Can anyone tell me the condition of Wissahickon/Forbidden Drive now after the hurricane? Hoping to get a long run in this weekend, and wondering if it is passable from Ridge Ave all the way through to Northwestern Ave?

Judging from the Friends of the Wissahickon Facebook and Twitter posts, it looks like damage wasn't too bad, but there were a few trees felled across Forbidden Drive shown in their photos, and there's definitely lots of smaller debris all over. I would imagine that those will be the primary focus of their clean-up efforts, and none of the photos look to make the Drive completely impassable. Definitely a proceed-at-your-own-risk proposition, but my personal risk assessment would put it pretty low.

I went for a long walk with the dog on Tuesday from roughly just after the 100 steps to about valley green and though there were a few trees down, you could easily walk over them. I'd think it's improved since Tuesday.

I ran the entire path from NW to Kelly today - only one tree I had to duck under about 1/4 mile from Ridge. Otherwise the maintenance folks have done a great job of clearing the fallen trees. Lots of sticks and leaves, so be careful with your footing! Have a great run.

Trails are in good shape as well. Saw a couple FOW vans this weekend.
