Police activity the night of 8/2 on Springfiled Ave

Anyone know what was going on last night? There was a helicopter flying around for a good 30 minutes with the spot light on and I heard there were a bunch of PPD cars on Springfield Ave.

East Springfield Avenue: A neighbor who was checking in on a house on the unit block of East Springfield Avenue reported Aug. 2, 9:18 p.m., that she went into the house to find a man coming down the stairs., who then fled through the back door, which had been kicked in, police said. According to police, one bedroom had been ransacked, but homeowners were not available to identify if anything was missing.
