Lost Dog Sighted

Hey! I saw a dog loose on Kitchens Lane on Saturday at about 12:30 p.m.

It was a male dog and looked older. He looked a little bit like Lassie but a lot smaller (I'm awful with dog breeds). But he had the same type of color coat. He definitely had tags on. I tried to corral him with some treats I had for my own dog but he was too scared and ran. He ended up going onto the property at Kitchens and Scollforth.

I've seen this dog running down the middle of Wissahickon Ave on several occasions, the last time being in May. Several cars have stopped and tried to corral it to catch it or guide it to safer ground, but it runs into a yard off of Allens Lane right where Wissahickon turns sharply,
and down into the park.

Poor thing!

Sounds like a Shetland Sheepdog, AKA Sheltie.
